Chris Bauer serves as Chief Development Officer for CUES Fund, where he leads fundraising, partnerships, and external relations for three neighborhood elementary schools in Omaha. His focus is simple and disciplined: build a stable operating base so teachers can teach, students can learn, and families have steady support. Chris champions practical stewardship, clear reporting, and donor experiences that let people see the work for themselves through programs like CUESday Tuesday tours.

Before joining CUES, Chris spent years in Omaha’s nonprofit sector, including work with Siena Francis House. He brings a master’s degree with emphasis in conflict resolution and negotiation, which shows up in his approach to collaboration, board engagement, and thoughtful asks. At CUES he is advancing multi-year operating commitments and careful diversification of revenue, so the system remains nimble in a changing year and strong over time.
