Mental Health Services & Counseling
Students have access to mental health services at school through licensed therapists. Having therapy available within the school setting makes it easier for students to receive support for anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, family challenges, and other concerns that can affect their emotional well-being and ability to learn.
Therapy provides students with a consistent, supportive space to work through challenges, develop coping skills, strengthen emotional health, and build tools they can use both in and out of the classroom.
CUES also provides school counseling and high school readiness support. School counseling helps students navigate their academic, social, and personal development, while high school readiness staff work with students and families to prepare for the transition to high school and connect them with the opportunities and resources available to them.
Together, these services provide students with caring professionals and resources that support their well-being, reduce barriers to learning, and help them continue moving forward.
