CUES Fund Names Jason Feldhaus CEO and Executive Director

OMAHA, Neb. — August 21, 2026 — CUES Fund today announced the appointment of Jason Feldhaus as CEO and Executive Director, effective September 14. Feldhaus will lead fundraising, donor and community engagement, strategic partnerships, and operations in support of the CUES School System.

Feldhaus brings more than 20 years of experience in human services, nonprofit leadership, community partnerships, and programs supporting children, young people, and families.

“Jason brings the leadership experience, community relationships, and commitment to children and families that we were looking for in the next leader of CUES Fund,” said Brian Harr, Chair of the CUES Fund Board of Directors. “He understands Omaha, knows how to bring people and organizations together around a shared purpose, and has spent his career helping communities respond to complex challenges. We are excited to welcome Jason and confident that he will provide strong leadership as CUES enters its next chapter.”

Feldhaus has served as Executive Director of Threshold CoC since June 2022. Previously, he worked at Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, where he oversaw the Connected Youth Initiative, supported recovery efforts following the 2019 Nebraska floods, and helped develop the statewide Emergency Rental Assistance Program in partnership with the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority.

Throughout his career, Feldhaus has focused on building partnerships and strengthening systems that connect people with the resources and opportunities they need.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead CUES Fund and join a community with such a strong commitment to students, families, and education,” Feldhaus said. “CUES has an incredible history of serving its mission for over 50 years, shaped by generations of educators, families, donors, board members, volunteers, and community partners who believe deeply in the power of education and the potential of every student. I look forward to listening and learning from them, strengthening relationships throughout Omaha, and building on that foundation to serve students and families for years to come.”

A lifelong Omaha resident, Feldhaus is a graduate of Roncalli Catholic High School and Creighton University. He and his wife, Adrienne, have three children, Riley, Addison, and Peyton.

Feldhaus joins CUES as the organization begins implementation of a new three-year strategic plan focused on academic achievement, student and family support, workforce stability, facilities, community engagement, and long-term financial sustainability.
