Expression: CUES Student Art Exhibit

Join us for opening night of Expression: CUES Student Art Exhibit.

Friday, Feb. 3
5 – 8 p.m.
Benson First Friday: 5901 Maple St.

Student artwork will be shown at our first annual student art exhibit. The preparation of a CUES student does not end with academics. Providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for high school and beyond, as well as empower future leaders in our global society of the 21st century, is the intention of our First Annual Art Exhibit at Benson First Friday. We are excited about this new community partnership!

Benson First Friday supports the Arts & Community by Advocating for Education, Inclusion, Opportunity, and Unique Experiences. With the instruction from our newly hired art teacher, Ms. Amanda Caillau, our students will be able to build self confidence, express themselves through art, and discover their potential while better understanding the world around them. All CUES 5th-8th grade students will have the opportunity to display their art for the entire month of February, 2023. Dr. Amy Morris (UNO School of Arts Director) and her students at UNO will provide career experience with curation and being a curator.

Thanks to the Pape Foundation for making this event possible!
